The Barber coin collection is now searchable online!

You can now search over 11,000 items in the coin collection online at mimsy.bham.ac.uk.

The chart below shows the percentage of the collection currently available online by category, listed by volume of coins online.

Please note that we have rendered the inscriptions as they are visible on the coin, not what the inscription type should read. We will be adding this in addition to the visible inscription at a later date.

While we do our best to provide you with the most accurate information we can, such a huge undertaking will invariably include mistakes.
