Reimagining the Barber

The Barber Institute of Fine Arts is currently closed for building improvements, reopening in 2026. Whilst closed, we're reimagining our spaces, collection and programme.

This includes exciting improvements to our Grade-1 listing building to increase accessibility and ensure our building can serve audiences well into the future. Our programmes, where we engage with various audiences will continue and we'll be reflecting and planning ahead.

We'll also be exploring the best ways to display our art collection and make it engaging and accessible to you, our audience.
