The Barber is undergoing a major building improvement project and the galleries are closed, reopening 2026.

During this period the Learning and Engagement Team, and associated artists, will be 'in-residence' at our partner schools of Fox Hollies, Harbourne Academy, Bournville and Bishop Challoner.

We are delighted to be working with Carli Kennedy, Bradley Taylor, Hipkiss & Graney and Michael D. Kennedy to make these projects a reality. We believe connecting students with practicing artists inspires and nurtures the next generation.

During closure, we have limited availability for offsite workshops and are focusing our resources on careers development. If you and your school would like to know more about creative careers and working in the museums sector please be in touch below.
