Dante Quartet cellist, Richard Jenkinson performs sonatas by Debussy and Brahms in the lunchtime recital with duo partner and University of Birmingham piano tutor, Alexander Boyd. Richard was awarded a Doctorate by the Department of Music for his research on the music of Hungarian composer, Zoltán Kodály.

Please be prompt as admission of latecomers is at the discretion of the venue.

Food is NOT permitted in the concert hall.

Access Information

The Elgar Concert Hall is located in The Bramall Music Building. The Bramall Music Building has a café, level access, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, and power assisted doors. A Changing Places toilet is also available in the nearby Main Library building.
