The Barber offers a range of activities for families to enjoy during their visit including a programme of creative events, as well an art trolley including free interactive resources and play objects to borrow and explore, housed in our foyer.

Experience the magic of live music inspired by works from the Barber Collection. On Thursday 20 November let the gorgeous miniature Portrait of Sultan Ali Adil Shah II spark your imagination and indulge in South Asian soundscapes. Adventure awaits!

Enjoy a varied mix of performers, styles and instruments and revel in the vivid connection between art and music.

No need to book – just turn up!

The Bramall has level access. The Dome is on the top floor, accessible via lifts or stairs. There is a cafe on the ground floor, and baby changing facilities on the lower ground floor. Ideal for ages 4 – 10 and their grown-ups

Join artist Lisa Franklin and the Barber Learning team at Winterbourne House and Garden on Saturday 22 November for an afternoon of creativity and funky fungi.

Experimenting with puppet making, masks and storytelling, you will get to ‘Meet the Microbes’; learning more about their weird and wonderful world and letting your imagination run wild!

Please note: the workshop is free, but you will need to purchase admission for Winterbourne on the day in order to attend. Prices and information are available on the Winterbourne website.
