Welsh pianist and the University’s Head of Performance, Ceri Owen is joined by the renowned contralto Jess Dandy in this Lecture-Recital exploring song in Wales, including rarely-heard songs by Morfydd Owen and Dilys Elwyn-Edwards, Huw Watkins’s recent Five Welsh Folk Songs, and more. The Land of Song (Gwlad y Gân) as you’ve never heard it before!

Food is NOT permitted in the concert hall.

Access Information

The Elgar Concert Hall is located in The Bramall Music Building. The Bramall Music Building has a café, level access, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, and power assisted doors. A Changing Places toilet is also available in the nearby Main Library building.
