Explore Making a Mark, our summer exhibition of Dutch and Flemish drawings, with Birmingham-based artist duo, Hipkiss & Graney. These online workshops will allow us to come together to explore artists of the past, whilst unlocking our own ways of making a mark. Throughout the workshop, we will deconstruct a drawing, reimagining it with our own drawn self-portraits.
These workshops are open to anyone; no previous experience or skills are required. Please just bring yourself and your drawing tools of choice!
This workshop will be hosted online via Zoom, with the link to join being shared in advance via email. To help create an informal and social Zoom space, these workshops will not be recorded. Spaces are limited.

Hipkiss & Graney are a visual arts duo based in Stirchley, South Birmingham.
Their practice explores ideas around collectivity, community and counter-movements through socially engaged workshops, large-scale interactive installations and performative outputs.
Their performances discuss political and environmental issues, often involving magic realism and fictional organisations.
