Donations

The Barber welcomes monetary donations - no matter how large or small. These can be made in several different ways:

Online

At the Barber

  • In our cash donation box at the entrance to the galleries
  • Via our cashless Goodbox donation points - find them at reception and at the entrance to the galleries

Make a Larger Donation

  • If you wish to make a substantial donation, please contact the Barber's Communications and Marketing Manager, Andrew Davies, on andrewdavies@barber.org.uk or 0121 414 2946.

Wills and Bequests

If you are considering remembering the Barber with a gift in your will, and would like to discuss this, please contact the Legacies Officer based in the University’s Development Office on 0121 414 7957 or at legacies@contacts.bham.ac.uk.

What will my donation be used for?

Your support will help fund exciting and worthwhile Barber projects, including:

Gallery Internships
Museums professionals in the making, these talented individuals are given the opportunity to take that vital first step on the career ladder, working as valuable members of our Collections, Learning and Engagement, and Communications and Marketing teams.

Recovery Art
An invaluable and cathartic space for those in our community coping with challenges in their physical or mental health. Members meet monthly to discuss the Barber’s world-class collection, enjoy creative workshops and experience different art processes. Find out more about Recovery Art.

Barber Schools
Inspiring children and young people, and using the Barber’s great collection to help them learn about art, think about the world around them and explore their own creativity. Find out more about Barber Schools.
