Inspired by the subjects and techniques featured in Scottish Colourist still lifes, as well as works from the Barber’s collection, this exhibition explores health and well-being.
First formed in early 2013, the Recovery Art Group provides an invaluable safe space for people recovering from physical or mental ill health.
Having the space to reflect and create has proven sociable, creative, and cathartic.
This year marks the Barber’s Recovery Art Group’s fifth exhibition. It features new paintings and sculpture, alongside insights from the Group in their own words.
If you are inspired and would like to join the Recovery Art Group, we always welcome new members. All sessions are free and all materials are provided.
