Performer and researcher Richard Sutcliffe presents a lecture recital of French music performed on the pardessus de viole (the smallest instrument in the viol family) and harpsichord. The programme includes works by Marin Marais, Antoine Forqueray, Louis de Caix d'Hervelois and Jean-Baptiste Barrière. Richard is current undertaking a PhD in the Department of Music.
