Violinist Njioma Chinyere Grevious and her duo partner Joseph Havlat perform music from the collaboratively written FAE Sonata. Written for Joseph Joachim, with movements by Schumann, Brahms, and Schumann’s pupil Dietrich, this expressive sonata is named after Joachim’s personal motto ‘Frei aber einsam’ (Free but lonely). The concert also features a new work from Scottish-Greek composer Electra Perivolaris.
