The Swiss baritone Felix Gygli has been a member of the prestigious International Opera Studio of the Zurich Opera House and is already an acclaimed recitalist. In 2023, he won both First Prize at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards and the Lied Prize at the Queen Sonja Competition in Oslo. For this concert, he brings a programme of Shakespeare settings by Korngold, Quilter, and Rautavaara, alongside Jonathan Dove’s Three Tennyson Songs and Schumann’s Liederkreis Op.24.

Doors open at 12.30pm.

Please be prompt as admission of latecomers is at the discretion of the venue.

Food is NOT permitted in the concert hall.

Access Information

The Elgar Concert Hall is located in The Bramall Music Building. The Bramall Music Building has a café, level access, accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, and power assisted doors. A Changing Places toilet is also available in the nearby Main Library building.
