Life-drawing workshop with Spirited Bodies
Wednesday 23 June, 2 – 3.30pm
Free; online via Zoom
Join artist and activist organisation Spirited Bodies for an empowering online life-drawing workshop that explores the long-lasting tradition of drawing as a tool for storytelling.
Inspired by our summer exhibition, Making a Mark, Spirited Bodies will offer a space to talk to life models about their relationship with their bodies. Whilst exploring how the drawn line can capture memories and lived experience, we will allow our creativity to be guided by free-flowing discussion.
This workshop is free and for all levels and abilities – absolutely no prior drawing experience needed. We look forward to bringing our collection to your place.
This event will take place online via Zoom with the link to join being shared in advance via email.
Please note this event is 18+. There will be nudity and sensitive discussions about body positivity.
Spirited Bodies is an activist organisation that champions body positivity, feminism and personal empowerment through the practices of life modelling and life drawing.
