Online Yin Yoga

Monday 15 November 2021, 5.30 – 7pm

£5, online via Zoom; booking essential

Need some calm as we move from blustery and changeable autumn into winter?

Take some time to connect with your breath and body and enjoy a relaxed and reflective evening of art-inspired yin yoga. In this practice you will slow down with longer-held poses and reflect on themes of change, adaptation and renewal drawn from artworks within the Barber’s collection.

Half an hour of close looking at works from the collection will be followed by a full hour of yoga practice.

The session will be led by Jen Ridding, our Head of Public Engagement, who is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), having completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (Yoga Alliance Professionals) and 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training (Sandstone Teacher Training Academy).

“I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years. This class brings together two of my favourite loves – yoga and art. I look forward to sharing the very special practice of yin yoga with you – see you on the mat!”

This workshop will be hosted via Zoom; available to anyone 18+.

We look forward to bringing our collection to your place.

Donations are welcome and can be made during the booking process and via contactless Goodbox stations in the Barber. Your donations support our learning programmes and paid internships for early-career professionals. Thank you.
