Here Comes the Sun: An Experimental Dance Workshop with Artist Performer Kaajel Patel
Wednesday 24 March, 7 – 8:30pm
Free; online via Zoom; for students at the University of Birmingham (18+).
As the days start to get longer and fresh spring buds begin to appear, let’s celebrate the warmth, life and joy the sun brings and rejoice in the delight at the end of the tunnel.
Inspired by André Derain’s drawing La Chute de Phaëton (The Fall of Phaeton) 1905, join artist Kaajel Patel for an uplifting experimental dance workshop, exploring the energy of the drawn line and the power of the sun.
This free, fun and informal session will get your body moving; absolutely no prior movement or dance experience is needed, all levels and abilities are welcome. We look forward to bringing our collection to your place.
Kaajel Patel is a London-based visual artist, set designer, dancer & actor.
