Develop your writing and explore new approaches in monthly workshops, inspired by the Barber’s collection.

For adults of all writing ability and levels of experience, workshops are led by Jacqui Rowe, former Barber writer-in residence.

Seek out some hidden gems on the University campus and come back with the treasure – ideas for writing.

EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

Respond to the ‘More Real than Life’ exhibition by creating stories and poems with a touch of fantasy and magic realism.


Saturday 15 July – FULLY BOOKED

THE GLORY OF THE GARDEN 

Inspired by Monet’s ‘The Water Lily Pond’, this workshop explores writing about gardens, flowers, trees and  water.

BARBER HERITAGE
