The Dragon of Wantley

A dragon has terrorised the Yorkshire village of Wantley. Who will save the villagers? Step in our hero, Moore of Moore Hall… but saving the day is not as easy as it seems!

This revival of an eighteenth-century comic classic, written by Handel’s own bassoonist, John Frederick Lampe, is directed by Drama student George Bandy and conducted by David Rice.

Performed by a talented cast of students from the University of Birmingham. Libretto by Henry Carey.
