The Artist’s Voice: Lunchtime Lecture

The Barber is temporarily closed due to COVID-19.

Drawing on the rich resource of the Artists’ Lives interviews, Lara Wardle (Director, Jerwood Collection), will explore the themes of ‘Cornwall as Crucible’ in this Lunchtime Lecture.

She will focus especially the network of relationships between the artists and the cross-fertilisation of ideas and influences.

Through referencing these first-person accounts, some of the rewards and pitfalls of oral history will also be examined.

Free; no need to book.
