Take a musical tour of the galleries with students from the University’s departments of art history and music – including the Early Modern Vocal Ensemble and the Centre for Early Music Performance and Research as they present masterpieces in the Barber collection. Vocal consorts perform Renaissance and Baroque music alongside the paintings of Gainsborough, Hals, Van Dyck and Poussin – while an instrumental performance focuses on ‘The Sharp Family’.
