Peter Moore and Robert Thompson
10 October 2014 1.10pm
At the age of 12, Peter Moore became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition. As well as his new role as co-principal of the London Symphony Orchestra, he maintains a busy performing and recording schedule after success in the Wind section of last year’s ROSL competition. Robert is a multi-prizewinning accompanist and pianist in his own right who has performed to audiences worldwide. Two new faces on the YCAT scheme, Peter and Robert bring to the Barber an exciting programme which pushes the boundaries of trombone recital repertoire.
