Lates – Loaf: Shaping Spaces and Sourdough

Our workshop with Loaf on Thursday 26 March has been cancelled due to COVID-19 – we hope to reschedule with a new date.

If you’ve booked a space, please be assured that we will be in touch and you will receive a refund in the coming weeks – you’ll be the first to know of a new date.

We’re really sorry for any disappointment and hope to return to our usual activities soon – keep checking our COVID-19 webpage for further updates.

Food plays a central role in bringing people and communities together.

Join Loaf, a local non-profit cooperative bakery, to discover the history of naturally-leavened sourdough and the place of food in the Barber’s collection.

And then get hands-on to learn how to shape your very own loaf.

Take home bread made by the bakery, along with a sourdough starter to share with your family and friends.

Based in Stirchley, Loaf is a bakery and cookery school which aims to promote ‘real food and healthy living in Birmingham, and build community through food.’ Find out more about the cooperative on their website.

£20 / £16 concessions; please book.
