IN REHEARSAL/IN CONVERSATION

BARBER ASSOCIATION EVENING

The Barber Opera returns this autumn: Porpora’s L’Agrippinaperformed by a professional cast in the Concert Hall on Thursday 21, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September.

Join us for this exclusive opportunity to witness the cast in rehearsal for 30 minutes, then join us for refreshments in the foyer.

This summer’s principal exhibition is ‘More Real than Life: 19th-century Portrait Photography’, curated by students from the University’s MA in Art History and Curating. Following refreshments, hear a group of these dynamic young curators in conversation, discussing their fascinating experiences in organising this absorbing exhibition. The evening will conclude with an opportunity to meet and chat to the students in the exhibition gallery itself.
