Asako Morikawa, Emily Ashton, Sam Stadlen and Richard Boothby – viols

We welcome Fretwork, winners of the prestigious ‘Chamber Music and Song’ prize in the 2017 Royal Philharmonic Society Awards, to the Barber Institute Evening Concert series. A leading exponent of period performance practice this group presents a programme of fantasies and passacaglias for four viols by composers including Bull, Ferrabosco, Jenkins, and Moulinié.
