Here you can view highlights from the Barber's fine collection of works on paper.

There are now over a thousand drawings and prints in the Barber's collection, covering six centuries of the draughtsman’s and printmaker’s art. There is a small but very fine selection of old master drawings with magnificent sheets by Dürer, Ingres, Rembrandt, Pietro da Cortona and Turner, along with more recent works by Degas. German Expressionism is a strength of the collection of prints and it includes works by Köllwitz, Beckmann and Nolde. Amongst the old masters there are fine groups by Dürer, Goya, Italian and Flemish Renaissance masters, and 19th-century French artists
