Hailing from Montreal, Quatuor Bozzini has been dubbed ‘one of the most daring string quartets of the entire world’. Their dedication to presenting  new works and forging collaborative projects with composers ensures that they are in demand at festivals across the globe. In this concert, they give the premiere performance of John Woolrich’s Débricollage from his current project A Book of Inventions. We also hear the music of fellow Canadians with the premiere of Scott Wilson’s a mezza voce, and Linda Caitlin Smith’s 2007 Gondola, alongside two mainstay of the 20th century quartet repertory from Stravinsky and Bartók.
