Why do parrots mimic man and other creatures? Are they really as clever as their behaviour suggests? And does their very popularity make them vulnerable? This evening, a collaboration with the University of Birmingham’s Centre for Ornithology and the University of Sheffield’s Parrot Group, is devoted to an examination of the parrot from a scientific point of view.
