Binchois Consort: Music for St Catherine & the Historic Scotland

Gramophone Awarding winning vocal ensemble, Binchois Consort, is directed by leading academic and Director of the Centre for Early Music Performance and Research, Professor Andrew Kirkman. In this concert the consort presents music for St Catherine including work by Walter Frye and John Dunstaple, as well the highly technical polyphonic choral music from the Carver Choirbook – one of very few surviving pre-reformation manuscripts of Scottish music.
